The Zygomatic Implant Process

Assessment and Planning

First, we’ll thoroughly discuss your dental history and goals. We’ll then examine your mouth and take X-rays or 3D scans. This helps us assess your bone structure and plan the perfect implant position and angle.

During your initial consultation, we can discuss what to expect from the process and explore finance options.

If you need any teeth removed, we’ll sort that out before the implant surgery. Don’t worry—we’ll explain everything if these steps are necessary for you.

Placement and Recovery

On the big day, we’ll make sure you’re comfortable. We’ll use local anaesthetic to ensure the process is painless. Next, we’ll use the latest clinically proven techniques and technology to place your implants.

Once your implants are in place, we’ll add functional and attractive temporary teeth to complete your smile while our skilled lab team makes your final restoration.

Over the next few months, your bone will grow around the implant in a process called osseointegration. This is crucial for creating a strong foundation for your new tooth.
